Beautiful, self-assured, sassy, charismatic, and unforgettable… Her character, Schatze Page in “How to Marry a Millionaire” is definitely one of our favorites! Champagne and caviar taste on the surface, but deep down she’s a ‘burgers and beer’ kind of girl. Her classic beauty was enhanced by her quick wit and sharp mind. Definitely not a broad to mess with. And for that we love her. Bacall epitomized old-Hollywood glamour. They sure don’t make ’em like they used to…
And just for good measure, we had to give tribute to one of Hollywood’s greatest love stories: Bogie and Bacall. To quote Bacall: “Here is a test to find out whether your mission in life is complete. If you’re alive, it isn’t.” Great words to live by. Timeless and inspiring til the end.
