Lately we were getting so used to the rocky beaches of Nice, so it’s refreshing to feel the pristine soft sand between our toes at Main Beach in East Hampton. Sunny skies, sandy beaches and great friends serve as a reminder of what’s right here at home. Passport not necessary.
The great thing about the Hamptons is that there’s something for everyone. Each village has a distinct feel, and activities for day into night cater to every style, age, IQ, decibel, and sobriety level. If you’re not in the mood for pop-up clubs serving 17 year olds armed with daddy’s black card or the air-kissing charity event party circuit, there are plenty of options to be invisible and unwind. Lately we’ve been gravitating more towards the serene … watching the sunrise after a night out with tequilla shots and DJ requests has evolved into loving the sunset, drinking rose and having bbq’s with small groups of friends.
Here are a few fun calm Hamptons Happenings….
